Model 45099, the UGREEN X740, is a compact 45W gallium nitride (GaN) USB-C adapter with an on-body smart display that reports charging activity in real time rather than a single blink-only status LED.
Efficiency and USB-C PD
GaN semiconductors run cooler and more efficiently than typical silicon designs, which helps keep the housing travel-sized while still outputting 45W. USB-C Power Delivery negotiates voltage and current with phones, tablets, laptops, and other USB-C gear for safe fast charging at each device’s supported rate.
Reading charge state on the unit
Live readouts on the charger let you verify that a wall outlet is feeding power and see that charging is active before you step away—useful when a minimal LED would not show wattage or fault conditions.
Protections and device support
