Description
Role on the desk
Anker’s 100W three-port wall adapter (model B121B) replaces several bricks with one GaN unit. A front smart display reports live wattage, temperature, and how each port is behaving while laptops, tablets, and phones share the same outlet.
Output and port logic
- Peak delivery: Up to 100W total; GaN allows steady 100W on any USB-C port and longer peak hold versus typical 100W adapters
- Sharing: Multi-channel firmware splits available watts across connected gear
- Small-device mode: When USB-C2 or USB-A output stays at or below 5W for one minute, the unit shifts to 95W + 5W low-current mode for earbuds and similar low-draw accessories
Display and safety
The HD panel surfaces charging state, thermal readings, and per-port performance in real time. On-board monitoring tracks board temperature and applies voltage limits when needed.
Physical design
- Foldable prongs for travel
- Body size approximately 2.72 × 2.17 × 1.34 inches—about 330% smaller than many comparable 100W units
- Fire-retardant shell and reinforced input prongs for a secure wall fit
- GaN internals improve heat spread so the casing stays cooler under full load
Xccessories Lab lists this adapter for centralized charging at home, in meeting rooms, or on the road.
