Reframe and POV workflows
Shoot True 8K 360 without framing in the field, then use the GoPro Quik app to reframe clips into standard 4K exports. AI auto-framing surfaces compelling angles from the same spherical file. Adjust stabilization and Horizon Lock after capture. HERO mode delivers a conventional action-camera experience with Max SuperView field of view.
Mounts and lens serviceability
Thread MAX2 onto a pole via the bottom 1/4-20 mount so the support vanishes for invisible selfie, follow-cam, and aerial-style shots. Replaceable, water-repelling optical glass lenses—and user-swappable lens covers—let you exchange scratched glass instead of replacing the entire camera.
Runtime and transfer
A 1960mAh Enduro battery improves cold-weather endurance compared with earlier cells. Wi-Fi 6 speeds file movement to your editing device. A front touch screen stays readable for manual framing in bright sun.
