Wired Gigabit Ethernet through PCI Express

UGREEN model 30771 adds a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port to compatible Windows desktops, workstations, and servers via PCI Express. Use it for primary wired networking, spare ports for redundancy or bridging, or to give Ethernet to older PCs that lack a built-in jack.

Slot, speed, and standards

Installs in PCI Express x1, x2, x4, x8, or x16 sockets—PCI Express only; not for legacy PCI slots. IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3ab compliant with 802.1Q VLAN tagging. Link rates auto-negotiate up to 1000 Mbps per direction (2000 Mbps aggregate full duplex), far above 10/100 links.

Brackets and software

Ships with a standard profile bracket plus an extra 8 cm low-profile bracket for small form factor or HTPC cases. After installation, Device Manager may list Realtek PCIe Family Controller #2. Download and install the driver before use.

Windows support and limits

Works with Windows 11, 10, 8/8.1, 7 (32- and 64-bit), Vista, XP, 2000, ME, and 98SE. Does not support Linux or macOS.

Installation and power warnings

Use 5 V power only—do not connect 12 V; do not insert a SATA power connector into the card reversed
Power off the computer before installing the PCIe card
