Description
High-wattage charging from a standard 12V outlet
Anker’s Nano car charger model A2737 (167.5W, three ports) fits a vehicle’s 12V socket while delivering enough power to run a laptop and two more devices together—useful when you need notebook-level speed away from a wall outlet.
What each port delivers
- First USB-C: Up to 100W—reported to bring a 16-inch MacBook Pro from empty to 50% in roughly 47 minutes when that port is used alone.
- Second USB-C: Up to 45W for faster charging on many iPhone and Samsung handsets.
- USB-A: Up to 22.5W for accessories such as a dashcam or a phone that uses Type-A charging.
Combined output can reach 167.5W with all three ports active. Despite the high rating, the Nano chassis stays compact so it usually clears cup holders and knee space in cars, trucks, and SUVs that use the common 12V size.
Before you drive
While the engine runs, the alternator generally covers the charger’s load. Charging for long periods with the engine off can pull down the battery, as with any 12V accessory. Configurations are offered with a bundled compatible USB-C cable or without, if you already have one.
Xccessories Lab lists this adapter for drivers who want one socket to cover a notebook plus phones on the road.
