When you need awareness, Ambient Aware and Talk Thru bring outside sounds and voices forward without taking the headphones off. Ambient Sound Control modes are enabled from the JBL Headphones app rather than relying on a hard-to-remember button combo.
Wireless audio and app tuning
Stream JBL Pure Bass wirelessly over Bluetooth 5.3. Inside the free JBL Headphones app, Smart Audio & Video lets you pick Audio mode for listening quality or Video mode for lower latency during games and video. Choose preset EQ profiles or draw a custom curve; Voice Prompts in your language walk you through setup and features.
Calls and everyday controls
Ear-cup buttons handle playback and calls. Voice Aware feeds your own voice back at a natural level so you are not shouting on hands-free calls.
Runtime and everyday use
The 70-hour playtime figure reflects maximum capacity; keeping ANC on continuously will shorten total listening time compared with ANC off. Playback, ANC toggling, and calls work from the ear cups without installing the app—the app is for EQ, Ambient Sound Control, and Smart Audio & Video.
