Cooling hardware
An internal fan forms part of the cooling system so the pad can push power efficiently. On Galaxy handsets, disabling “fast wireless charging” in settings stops the fan during charging.
Safety and Galaxy ecosystem testing
Engineered to help shield Galaxy phones from high heat, humidity, and overheating while energized. The pad watches for foreign objects during charging and underwent compatibility checks for Galaxy mobiles, watches, and Buds.

Footprint and power
Slim, smooth housing fits tight nightstands or work surfaces for phones or earbuds. Requires mains power; Samsung advises the in-box cable and/or travel adapter—unapproved accessories may slow charging or harm the unit.
LED behavior
Status at a glance: solid red while charging, flashing red on error, green when full. Supported Galaxy models from the S10 generation onward allow LED dimming; Settings can schedule Fast Wireless Charging off and dim the light on a timer.
