Description
Track everyday items with Samsung
Galaxy SmartTag2 is a compact Bluetooth tracker you clip to keys, wallets, or bags, then manage through SmartThings Find on a compatible Galaxy smartphone after registration.
When something is nearby but hidden
Turn on Search Nearby and follow Compass View directions toward the tag. Still cannot spot it? Play a loud ring so the tag broadcasts an audible signal in noisy rooms.
Alerts and automation
- Receive notifications if you walk away and leave a tagged item behind.
- Trigger compatible IoT devices you have connected inside SmartThings.
Hardware and power
The refreshed enclosure is shaped for easy attachment and pocket carry. An IP67 rating helps it endure dust and water exposure within rated limits. Battery life reaches up to 500 days in typical use, with about 40% more runtime available when Non-Power Saving Mode is turned off.
Data control
Adjustable privacy settings determine who may view tracking information linked to your tag.
Setup in brief
Register a new SmartTag2 in SmartThings Find to begin tracking from your phone—no lengthy configuration before your first search.
