The Tapo C420S2 bundles a hub with two battery-powered cameras that stream and record in 2K QHD—roughly 1.7 times the pixel count of 1080p for sharper stills and clips indoors or outside.
Install without cable runs
Each camera is wire-free, so placement is flexible wherever coverage is needed. Rechargeable, removable battery packs use a low-power protocol; rated usage up to 180-day battery life* between charges depending on activity. Outdoor mounting is supported with IP65 water and dust resistance.
After-dark and intelligent alerts
A starlight sensor enables full-color night vision when light is limited. On-camera AI can flag people, pets, and vehicles and push notifications accordingly. Detected motion may activate integrated light and sound alarms. Speak through the scene using two-way audio on the built-in microphone and speaker.
Where recordings live
Clips can sit on a microSD card installed in the hub (capacity up to 256 GB†) or upload through Tapo Care** cloud storage if you subscribe to that service.
