UGREEN model 20231 links 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA III HDDs and SSDs to a host PC through USB 3.0—handy for extra storage, OS upgrades, backups, and pulling data from old disks.
Transfer performance
Throughput reaches up to 5 Gbps with UASP enabled, described as about 70% quicker than standard USB 3.0 while cutting processor load by roughly 80%. No driver install is required: plug, play, and hot-swap are supported. Always eject the drive safely before disconnecting to reduce the risk of data loss.
Power for desktop-size disks
A DC-Jack port and bundled 12 V / 2 A adapter deliver sufficient power for 3.5″ mechanisms.
