Description
Desktop and portable drive access
The UGREEN 20611 EU converter opens 2.5″ and 3.5″ SATA SSDs and HDDs through USB 3.0—ideal for booting legacy disks, upgrading storage, cloning, retrieving laptop data, and expanding capacity without installing drives internally.
5 Gbps with UASP and TRIM
SATA III 6 Gbps internal pairing meets USB 3.0 5 Gbps on the host for transfers up to 5 Gbps. UASP and TRIM help SSDs run up to about 70% faster than traditional HDD-style USB paths when the computer, adapter, and drive all support UASP; UASP can also cut processor load by around 80% versus standard USB 3.0 handling.
How to connect
- Plug and play—no drivers on supported systems; hot-swapping lets you change drives without powering down the laptop
- Mount the drive on the adapter, connect USB to the PC, and add the included 12 V / 2 A supply when using 3.5″ media (DC jack on cable)
- 2.5″ HDDs and SSDs run from USB power alone; eject the volume in the OS before unplugging USB and the 12 V adapter
