UGreen model 30847 is an external enclosure only—no internal HDD or SSD is included. Install a compatible 2.5-inch SATA disk to add portable storage or pull files from an old laptop drive.
Transfer performance
The USB 3.0 interface supports rates up to 5 Gbps. On the SATA side, UASP accelerated mode can be roughly 70% faster than standalone USB 3.0 when your computer also supports UASP. Trim is supported alongside UASP for stable performance with SSDs.

- Fits 7 mm and 9.5 mm SATA HDDs and SSDs up to 6 TB.
- Works with common SATA brands such as WD, Seagate, Toshiba, Samsung, and Crucial.
- Plug and play on Windows, Linux, and macOS 8.0 and newer.
- Connect to a PC, laptop, PS4, or Xbox for backups, extra space, or recovery from retired systems.
- If mounting screws on your drive stick out, remove them before insertion or the tray may not close.
