Description
Route HDMI playback into a DisplayPort monitor
Active converter 40238 lets an HDMI 1.4 source feed a DisplayPort 1.2 panel or projector. A USB-A pigtail supplies optional supplementary power when the host port alone is insufficient.
Port layout
- Host side: HDMI 1.4 (male) plus USB-A (male) for power.
- Display side: DisplayPort 1.2 (female).
Video, audio, and copy protection
- Up to 1080p at 120 Hz and 2K × 4K at 30 Hz.
- Per-channel HDMI bandwidth to 225 MHz / 2.25 Gbps.
- Uncompressed LPCM audio supported.
- HDCP compliant operation.
Cabling and setup
Ready after connection—no driver install step. Main HDMI path length 1.5 ft (50 cm); USB power lead also 1.5 ft (50 cm). USB attachment is optional when extra power is not needed.
