The UGREEN 90408 accepts M-Key and B+M Key modules in lengths 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280, covering both NVMe PCIe and M.2 SATA SSDs. Install your drive, connect over USB, and use it as an external volume—drivers are not required.
Common jobs include moving large folders, keeping backups portable, giving a retired M.2 SSD a second life, and adding capacity without opening a desktop case.
Throughput and protocol support
- USB 3.2 Gen 2 paired with PCIe 3.0 (NVMe) delivers transfer rates up to 10 Gbps—roughly one second to move about 1 GB of data under ideal conditions.
- The interface supports UASP and TRIM, with read speeds up to about 70% and write speeds up to about 40% faster than a typical USB 3.1 setup for this enclosure type.
