The Huawei WiFi AX2 delivers dual-band wireless with 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 support. Stated theoretical rates reach up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and up to 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz, for a combined maximum of 1500 Mbps1. WPA3 encryption helps protect your wireless network.
Speed and antennas
On 5 GHz, Wi-Fi 6 enables a maximum transmission rate of 1201 Mbps on that band—useful for gaming, streaming, and downloads when conditions allow. A high-isolation antenna array is designed to cut same-frequency interference for steadier links.
Whole-home coverage with Mesh+
HarmonyOS Mesh+ lets you group compatible HUAWEI routers under one Wi-Fi name. Linked HUAWEI WiFi AX2 units can hand off automatically as you move3, so you stay on a strong signal from room to room.
Family controls and security
Parental controls let you block inappropriate websites and restrict access for chosen devices from your phone. Manage modes, Wi-Fi, guest networks, and how long devices stay online through the HUAWEI AI Life app.

Many medium to large homes—often cited around 100–120 sqm—can be served well by this AX2 class setup when paired with sensible placement and, where needed, additional Mesh+ capable HUAWEI routers.
